DNU aims to spread knowledge, acceptance and the principles of naturism.
DNU is a member of the International Naturist Federation (INF), and member of Friluftsraadet(the National Federation of Outdoor Recreation) and Campingraadet
(the National Federation of Camping) in Denmark.
Only DNU and joined clubs are allowed to issue INF membership cards, which give access to numerous naturist resorts all over the world.

Danish Naturist Union (DNU) is an umbrella organisation for 8 societies with approx. 1,000 members. 6 of the societies have camping sites, where naturism is practised.
